WYCJ attends ChangeNOW Summit in Paris

From 19-21 May the ChangeNOW Summit took place at the Grand Palais in Paris. Stubborn optimists from WYCJ were present to raise awareness on the youth-led campaign and seek support from other organizations present.

The ChangeNOW Summit in Paris is the world’s largest gathering of solutions for the planet that brings together investors, entrepreneurs, corporates and communities.

WYCJ’s objective

WYCJ’s objective for attending was to raise awareness of the ICJ AO campaign with like-minded organizations and potential investors.

Workshop on the campaign

WYCJ held a workshop at the Earth Village where 20 participants of the Summit received a hands-on training about how to support WYCJ. “It is so exciting to present the campaign to the participants of ChangeNOW and share tools to get involved”, says WYCJ campaigner Samira Ben Ali. The campaigners also engaged in several successful meetings, including gaining support from climate activists Melati Wijssen and Dominique Palmer.
