WYCJ contributed to the Report by the Climate Governance Commission

The Report titled ‘Governing Our Climate Future’ came out in November 2021 and was accompanied by a webinar with the other contributors to the report. The Report contains 26 new perspectives and proposals on global governance ideas that are more fit to deal with the 21st century challenges. WYCJ co-authored a piece together with Rob van Riet and Alyn Ware (both World Future Council) on using the existing international legal institutions, in our case the International Court of Justice on Climate Change and Human Rights to strengthen international law and provide legal clarity through an Advisory Opinion.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our ideas and vision along other wonderful authors and are curious to see what can grow from this fantastic resource containing thought-provoking ideas.
